Uverse is a browser-first game engine designed to reduce installation, version-matching, collaboration, and distribution friction around game development. Creators can open the editor in the browser, build with C#, U#, or an actively developing typed Visual Scripting system, and export the same project as a standalone web build or compiled native game. Shared browser workspaces and hosted build links remain in development.
Uverse is a browser-first game engine for creating, testing, and shipping 2D and 3D games from one project. Instead of beginning with a traditional editor installation and local toolchain setup, Uverse begins in the browser. Creators can author gameplay with a supported C# profile, streamlined U#, or an actively developing typed Visual Scripting system, then move between editing and playtesting inside the browser editor.
The same Uverse project can be delivered as a standalone web build or a downloadable native game. This gives developers a fast browser path for review while preserving compiled native applications as first-class targets. Native builds use dedicated players and platform graphics backends rather than embedded browser wrappers.

Founder, Game Engine Developer & Product Designer
Yan Hülsebusch is a software engineer, game developer, and product designer who began programming at eight and making games at nine. Game development remained a lifelong ambition as his work expanded across full-stack engineering, interactive 3D, UI/UX, developer tooling, product architecture, and technical leadership. After founding Naxore and later serving as CTO at Lumera Health, he brought those disciplines together in Uverse, a browser-first game engine designed to make serious game development easier to open, build together, share, and ship natively.
Yan Hülsebusch is a software engineer, game developer, and product designer with more than two decades of experience building software and digital products. He began programming at eight years old and started making games at nine. Game development was his earliest technical ambition and remained a constant interest as he explored increasingly broader areas of engineering and design.
His work has since expanded across full-stack development, interactive 3D experiences, UI/UX and product design, developer tooling, native applications, technical architecture, and engineering leadership. Yan founded Naxore, a software and creative digital studio, and later served as CTO at Lumera Health. These roles gave him experience across the complete process of turning an idea into a working product, from architecture and implementation to interface design, user experience, and product strategy.
Uverse was born from bringing those disciplines back together around his original interest in game development. It combines his experience in browser technology, native software, interactive 3D, developer tools, engine architecture, and product design into one browser-first game engine. Yan is building Uverse around the idea that a serious game engine should be as easy to open, collaborate in, and share as a website, without limiting developers to the web or taking away familiar professional workflows.
